Static
A downloadable game
Even when the grey mist clears, the sky is nothing but clouds and rain.
Crowded around by steel, concrete, and glass. It’s impersonal, but you are a person. The drones around you may have acclimatized, maybe they’re built up a skin of callousness, maybe they’ve lost hope, maybe they’ve sold their souls… the result’s the same. They’re not happy to be faceless masses, they don’t care enough to be happy or sad.
You’ve still got some hope, and you struggle to communicate with them beyond superficial things. You know there must be others with the same spark inside, you can’t be alone. The only thing you know is that you’ve encountered some folks with hope who later have it drained away. There’s something out there consuming what little humanity is left in the world. The more you try, the more you open yourself to the risks of the gloom. It’s been a while since you’ve found someone who might share your happiness and pain, but at this stage you’re...
...getting nothin but static
